Senior Rotating Equipment / Centrifugal Pumps Technician

About the role

The Senior Rotating Equipment / Centrifugal Pumps Technician leads and executes maintenance, repair, overhaul and service activities on rotating equipment, with a primary focus on centrifugal pumps. The role supports both workshop and field operations, ensuring equipment is dismantled, inspected, measured, assembled, tested, installed and commissioned to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare tools, materials and spare parts for efficient maintenance and repair tasks.
• Perform and supervise dismantling, inspection, measurement, assembly, testing, installation and commissioning of centrifugal pumps and related rotating equipment.
• Execute shaft alignment using dial indicators and laser alignment systems in accordance with OEM specifications.
• Diagnose equipment faults, conduct troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate service reports, inspection records, job cards and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, OEM recommendations, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, supervisors and customers to deliver safe, reliable and high‑quality service solutions.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in rotating equipment and centrifugal pump maintenance.
• Strong ability to lead workshop and on‑site teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety and quality.
• Effective communication with engineers, supervisors and clients.
