Senior Sales Specialist – Electrification & Distribution

About the role

ABB is hiring a Senior Sales Specialist in Doha, reporting to the Marketing & Sales Manager. The role covers the sale of products, systems and services within a designated market or division, in line with the division strategy, and contributes to the Electrification, Distribution Solutions - Sales and Marketing organization in Qatar. The specialist must meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to drive order growth, revenue, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers on delivery times, payment terms and general terms and conditions in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
• Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate value propositions to customers.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities in the assigned market.
• Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities when needed.

Required profile

• 5 to 8 years of experience in sales and marketing in the electrification industry or a similar field.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a proven track record in selling electrical products and solutions.
• Ability to show references and past achievements in sales figures and customer satisfaction.
• Comfortable communicating in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong experience in medium voltage in the oil & gas sector.
• Enhanced knowledge of electrical distribution products and solutions.
• Highly skilled in sales processes, key account management and developing new business in assigned market segments.
