Senior Specialist Data Science

About the role

Ooredoo is looking for a Senior Specialist Data Science to strengthen its AI practice. You will work closely with B2B/B2C, Technology, Finance and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable AI/ML and Generative AI solutions that drive digital growth and support the data & AI roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Understand telecom business requirements and develop AI/ML models for value addition.
• Own the full model lifecycle: problem framing, data discovery, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Deliver Customer Value Management use cases such as churn prediction, CLV, propensity scoring and Next‑Best‑Offer frameworks.
• Enable hyper‑personalisation and real‑time decisioning for always‑on campaigns.
• Support AI‑enabled marketing, digital sales optimisation and call‑center efficiency use cases.
• Design and implement conversational AI and GenAI solutions like virtual assistants and agent‑assist tools.
• Perform data extraction, preprocessing and scoring using PL/SQL on platforms such as Teradata and Oracle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data science and AI/ML within a telecom or similar fast‑moving industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end production models and monitoring their performance.
