Senior UX Lead - Experience Optimisation

About the role

A recruiter is supporting a major client in Qatar on a national digital services programme that brings services from many government and private-sector entities into a single citizen-facing mobile app, available in Arabic and English on iOS and Android. You will own the whole app experience, from first launch to a finished service, including the customer support users contact when things go wrong.

Key responsibilities

• Set the experience goals and agree how they are measured.
• Lead the work to improve results release after release, staying hands-on in design, mainly on structure, navigation and the hardest journeys.
• Own the end-to-end app experience, including customer support.

Required profile

• 8+ years in UX and UI design, focused on mobile apps and transaction-based service platforms, including at least 3 years leading UX for a live, high-traffic product.
• Portfolio of shipped products, preferably national or large-scale service apps, financial apps or digital government services, showing decisions based on research and measured results.
• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science or a related field.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Expert-level Figma, including prototyping, auto-layout, component libraries and design tokens.
• User research and accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA).
• Bilingual design, including right-to-left Arabic layouts.
• Certifications such as IAAP CPACC or WAS, or a UX research/design certification, are an advantage but not required.
