Shift Supervisor II (National Graduate)

About the role

QatarEnergy LNG is hiring a national graduate for a Shift Supervisor II position in Ras Laffan North. This is an entry-level role focused on developing technical and behavioural competence through professional courses, self-study, on-the-job training and mentoring, while becoming familiar with Qatargas operating policies, procedures and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build technical competence through courses, self-study, on-the-job training and mentoring, and learn to perform functional duties and data gathering under the guidance of a mentor or coach.
• Learn Qatargas operating policies, procedures and processes, the working environment, data sources and mode of operation.
• Deliver division activities using the knowledge and skills developed.
• Work with the mentor or coach on the development plan and training requirements, and attend recommended formal training.
• Apply Qatargas concepts, specifications and standards in work completed and presentations.
• Show awareness and commitment to safety through personal actions.
• Coordinate regularly with colleagues and provide routine information and advice.
• Produce periodic routine internal and external reports, and help prepare the analysis and supporting details.

Required profile

• Qatari national.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• GPA of 2.5 or above.
• No previous work experience; entry-level position for a national graduate.

Required skills

• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient keyboard and PC skills.
