SOC Analyst L2 - LogRhythm SIEM

About the role

An experienced SOC Analyst at Level 2 is sought, with hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and LogRhythm SIEM. The role covers detailed security investigations, incident handling and escalation management, technical guidance to Level 1 analysts, incident reporting and support of continuous 24/7 SOC operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed security investigations to identify, analyse and assess potential threats and incidents
• Analyse alerts and correlate logs using LogRhythm SIEM and other security monitoring tools
• Determine incident severity and impact, and recommend response actions
• Manage escalated incidents from Level 1 analysts and ensure timely resolution
• Provide technical guidance and investigation support to Level 1 analysts
• Document findings, incident details, response actions and escalation outcomes
• Prepare incident reports and contribute to SOC operational and security reporting
• Coordinate with technical teams on containment, remediation and resolution
• Handle shift handovers and operational follow-up, working in 24/7 rotational shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays

Required profile

• Hands-on experience in a SOC or cybersecurity operations environment, including advanced investigations and incident handling
• Practical experience with LogRhythm SIEM, alert triage, log analysis and incident reporting
• Experience supporting Level 1 analysts and working in 24/7 rotation
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and problem-solving skills
