Social Media Manager

About the role

Pod Fitness is a growing fitness brand offering training programs and member experiences for people from beginners to advanced athletes. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Social Media Manager in Doha, Qatar, who plans, creates and publishes content across its social channels to raise brand awareness, drive membership interest and strengthen community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop content calendars and write and edit posts.
• Coordinate photo and video content and optimise posts for reach and engagement.
• Monitor trends to keep content relevant and competitive.
• Track performance metrics, report on campaign results and adjust strategies based on data insights.
• Work with marketing, operations and coaching teams to keep messaging consistent and to highlight programs, events and member success stories.

Required profile

• Experience in social media or digital marketing roles, preferably in fitness, wellness or consumer brands.
• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Doha, manage several projects at once and collaborate in a team.

Required skills

• Social media marketing and social media optimization (SMO)
• Content strategy and communication and writing skills
• Experience with major platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, and social media analytics tools
• Familiarity with basic design or video editing tools is an advantage
