Solution Architect – Operational Digital Twin

About the role

Parsons is looking for a Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a large‑scale Operational Digital Twin platform for a national infrastructure owner in the Middle East. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to turn geospatial, IoT and enterprise data into actionable insights for planning, operations and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Product Manager in defining and maintaining the end‑to‑end solution architecture across discovery, proof‑of‑concept, implementation and post‑implementation phases.
• Translate business and use‑case requirements into logical and physical architectures covering applications, integration, data and infrastructure.
• Guide the design of core platform components such as web/GIS applications, APIs, data services and analytics/AI modules, ensuring reusability and alignment with architecture principles.
• Collaborate with Integration Lead and development teams to define integration approaches with enterprise systems (EAM/CMMS, ERP, BIM, SCADA/IoT, GIS, data platforms).
• Define and validate non‑functional requirements (performance, availability, scalability, security, resilience) and coordinate testing with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams.
• Prepare and maintain architecture documentation, interface specifications, design decision records and support technical governance reviews with Parsons and client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical discipline.
