Spa Therapist

About the role

The Spa Therapist will deliver high‑quality massage and body‑treatment services to guests at the JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha. You will ensure guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction while maintaining the spa’s professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide massage services and body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
• Assess guest needs and contraindications before each service.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Promote and sell spa services and retail products.
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain all tools and equipment.
• Monitor treatment schedules and handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott policies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 1 year of relevant spa or massage experience.
• State or regional massage license.
• Ability to stand, lift and move objects up to 10 lb and perform fine‑motor tasks.
• Commitment to maintain current licensure and follow safety procedures.

Required skills

• Massage therapy techniques.
• Body treatment application (scrubs, wraps, hydrotherapy).
• Operation of spa equipment and treatment rooms.
• Sanitation and sterilization procedures.
