Squadron Support B Shift Supervisor

About the role

The B Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing inventory and asset demand throughout the supply chain, ensuring that all tooling and equipment requirements are met in line with contractual obligations. The role involves coordinating issue resolution, prioritising parts, and applying operational analysis to support demand management.

Key responsibilities

• Generate, receive, validate, prioritise and process inventory/asset demands.
• Coordinate resolution of issues and provide alternative part solutions.
• Identify capability or capacity gaps and work with the Demand Management Specialist to resolve or escalate them.
• Interface with platform maintenance and upgrade teams to place timely demands.
• Manage calibrated items, ensuring timely return to industry and serviceability.
• Conduct demand validation, identify specification or sourcing issues, and drive resolution.
• Prioritise critical customer/contract demands and monitor trends.
• Report on demand management performance and metrics.
• Mentor QEAF staff joining the MOB Organisation.

Required profile

• Competent in supply chain and maintenance operations with a focus on process definition and improvement.
• Understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to demand management.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers, Part‑145 organisations, OEMs, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Operational knowledge of platform contracts, fleet performance and key business metrics.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset and capability development focus.
• Strong analysis, planning and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in relevant IT systems.
• Valid driving licence.
• Institute of Supply Chain Management Level 3 (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
