Order Book Support Operator

About the role

The Order Book Support Operator ensures day‑to‑day processing of spares and repair orders, supporting inventory forecasting and optimisation to meet contractual and customer requirements. You will work closely with the Spares & Repairs coordinator, PPC supervisor and the Integrated Technical Logistics Operations Cell (ITLOC) to maintain service levels and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support timely placement and execution of spares and repair orders.
• Assist the PPC supervisor with AOG spares activities and DSUM/AOG calls.
• Maintain accurate PPC spreadsheets and inventory data.
• Help plan, position and monitor stock to balance service and cost.
• Identify alternative supply sources to minimise expenditure.
• Determine the most appropriate asset solution (repair, overhaul, spare).
• Schedule repair tasks and ensure KPI compliance for internal and external customers.
• Mentor new staff joining the organisation.
• Analyse supply‑chain data to highlight recurring issues.

Required profile

• Understanding of regulatory frameworks and ability to integrate them into processes.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with customers, OEMs, suppliers and internal teams.
• Good knowledge of platform contract terms and fleet performance metrics.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and reporting enhancements.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced spreadsheet management).
