Steward – Hotel Kitchen & Dining Support

About the role

As a Steward at The Plaza Doha, you will ensure the kitchen and dining areas are spotless, supporting the culinary team and enhancing guest experiences through immaculate serviceware and a clean environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and polish all chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans to maintain a spotless serviceware inventory.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels of supplies and equipment, keeping workstations organized for efficient service.
• Perform routine kitchen cleaning tasks, including mopping floors, waste removal, and maintaining overall hygiene standards.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets, functions and other events.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene protocols, handling hazardous substances safely and reporting any concerns.
• Alert supervisors to equipment issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Train and mentor new team members, sharing best practices to strengthen team performance.
