Steward – Hotel Kitchen Support

About the role

The Steward ensures cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in the kitchen, dishwashing area, and food service facilities at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel By Tivoli. This role supports the culinary team by maintaining equipment, utensils, and work areas to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery.
• Operate dishwashing machines and follow proper cleaning procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas, floors, walls, and workstations.
• Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
• Ensure proper storage of clean kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and sanitation requirements.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, and safety hazards.
• Support deep‑cleaning activities as scheduled.
• Follow instructions from the Supervisor and Manager.
