Stores Assistant II – Doha (Talent Pool)

About the role

The Stores Assistant II supports the smooth flow of goods within the airport cargo and operations environment. You will assist with receiving, storing, thawing and issuing materials while ensuring compliance with food safety and temperature requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Stores Assistant I and Storekeepers with daily operational duties and guidance.
• Receive and off‑load supplies from vendors, checking quantity, quality and temperature compliance.
• Store items using the FEFO principle and manage multi‑tier storage locations.
• Pick, de‑box and load materials onto conveyors for distribution according to approved requisitions.
• Facilitate thawing of frozen items by arranging them in thawing chillers.
• Operate specialised equipment such as Electric Pallet Stackers (EPS), Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks, pallet inverters and pallet shrink‑wrap machines.
• Support physical stock counts and monitor expiry dates to minimise waste.

Required profile

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills with good English communication.
• Entry‑level candidates; no prior job‑related experience required.
• Ability to follow safety, security and food‑safety procedures.

Required skills

• Operation of Electric Pallet Stacker (EPS).
• Operation of Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks.
• Use of pallet inverter and pallet shrink‑wrap machines.
• Basic forklift handling knowledge.
