About the role

The Supervisor – Operations will oversee daily operational activities at Qatar Steel, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of production processes. This role involves coordinating the workforce, monitoring performance, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities and workforce.
• Allocate duties to workers, monitor performance, and ensure productivity meets company standards.
• Maintain daily work records, reports, and operational documentation.
• Identify operational problems and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce strict compliance with occupational health and safety regulations on the shop floor.
• Diagnose operational bottlenecks and coordinate with maintenance for rapid resolution.
• Conduct regular shift toolbox meetings focused on safety and production quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Relevant education or vocational training in a related field.
