Supply Chain Executive - Strategic Sourcing, Projects & Contracts

About the role

Al Emadi Enterprises is looking for a Supply Chain Executive to support centralized strategic sourcing, project procurement, supplier negotiations and contract administration. The role ensures commercial competitiveness, procurement transparency, cost efficiency and compliance with Group procurement governance. It reports directly to the Group Supply Chain Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing and tendering: identify sourcing opportunities, run market research, prepare and issue RFQs and RFPs, negotiate pricing, delivery terms, warranties and payment conditions, and recommend Group-wide purchasing agreements.
• Project and specialized procurement: manage procurement for projects, renovations, fit-outs, major maintenance, equipment and specialized services, track long-lead items and coordinate deliveries with logistics and warehouse teams.
• Contract administration: maintain a central register of supplier contracts, monitor expiries and renewals, review commercial terms with Legal and Finance, and track supplier compliance.
• Supplier performance and risk: maintain a qualified supplier database, evaluate suppliers on price, quality, delivery and reliability, and recommend risk mitigation such as alternative sourcing.
• Cost optimization: analyze procurement spend, recommend framework agreements and volume negotiations, and track negotiated savings.
• Governance and reporting: ensure compliance with Group policies, keep transparent records, prepare weekly sourcing and contract reports, support audits, and assist the Group Supply Chain Manager in developing procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4-6 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
• Experience in project procurement, tendering, contract administration or diversified business groups.
• Knowledge of Qatar supplier markets and commercial procurement practices.
• CIPS certification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong commercial negotiation, analytical and contract administration skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel and procurement reporting.
