Systems Engineer - SecOps

About the role

Fortinet is looking for a Systems Engineer specialized in Security Operations (SecOps) to join its Systems Engineering team in Qatar. You will act as the primary technical liaison for customers and partners, guiding them through the full sales cycle and ensuring successful delivery of Fortinet cybersecurity solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle, from RFIs to RFPs/RFQs, including project management and POCs.
• Listen to and interpret customer technical requirements to design superior solutions.
• Serve as the main technical point of contact for customers and partners, collaborating closely with sales colleagues.
• Continuously update knowledge of Fortinet products, competitive landscape, and emerging threats.
• Present solutions remotely or on‑site using whiteboards, technical white papers, and detailed plans.
• Manage multiple deals simultaneously while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Record accurate technical activity, contacts, and account information in Salesforce.

Required profile

• Strong aptitude for security technologies across network, endpoint, and application domains.
• Experience in a pre‑sales engineering role handling end‑to‑end technical deal closure.
• Proven problem‑solving track record that contributed to key wins.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• CISSP accreditation is a plus.
