Tailor – Luxury Resort Guest Experience

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Tailor to join the Guest Experience and Operations team at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq, a luxury desert resort in Qatar. The role involves providing high‑quality garment alterations, repairs and wardrobe care for guests and staff, ensuring every piece meets the brand’s standards of craftsmanship and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tailoring, alterations, repairs and adjustments for guest clothing, staff uniforms and resort garments.
• Take accurate measurements and conduct fitting consultations for guests and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized tailoring workspace and manage sewing materials, tools and supplies.
• Communicate with guests and colleagues about garment requirements, timelines and completion.
• Support special requests for events, celebrations or personalized guest experiences.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience as a Tailor, Seamstress or Alterations Specialist, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship and a professional, discreet attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a hospitality team in a remote environment.
• Basic communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Expertise with sewing machines and tailoring tools.
• Knowledge of garment construction, stitching techniques and fabric handling.
• Proficiency in taking accurate measurements and performing precise fittings.
• Understanding of different fabric types and appropriate care methods.
