Team Leader - Architecture

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and creative Team Leader – Architecture to provide architectural design leadership on complex, high‑profile projects across a range of sectors. In this role you will influence the design direction of major developments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and deliver innovative, client‑focused solutions that create lasting community benefit.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of complex architectural design solutions from concept through to implementation.
• Establish and champion the design vision for major projects, maintaining quality, innovation and technical rigour.
• Work closely with clients and project stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver exceptional outcomes.
• Lead design reviews, feasibility studies and design validation activities.
• Provide specialist advice on architectural design, construction practices, regulations and industry standards.
• Support multidisciplinary teams, including BIM, technical and engineering specialists.
• Contribute to winning work through technical input into proposals, tenders and client presentations.
• Mentor and develop team members, sharing knowledge and fostering design excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in architectural design.
• Proven experience leading complex projects and managing design delivery.
• Strong design, technical and problem‑solving capability.
• Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
• Clear communication and presentation abilities with the capacity to influence and inspire.
