Technical Assistant – Offshore Installation Support

About the role
The Technical Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) and the platform leadership team. The role ensures accurate data handling, confidentiality, and smooth coordination of personnel and operational documentation within the offshore facility.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and verify databases, ensuring data accuracy and quality for field operations.
- Prepare and update duty rotations, personnel files, and record leave, sickness, overtime, and contact details.
- Assist with personnel documentation such as timesheets, leave schedules, travel requests, overtime claims, and advances.
- Coordinate helicopter bookings for passenger transport to the facility.
- Conduct offshore administration briefings for new employees and visitors.
- Support onshore personnel office and resolve a variety of personnel and documentation queries.
- Assist in training coordination for offshore staff.
Required profile
- Completion of secondary school education (12 years).
- Minimum 5 years of office administration experience in the oil and gas industry or a related contracting/consultancy environment.
- Good knowledge of standard computer software and basic financial/budgetary processes.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard computer software applications.
