Teller – Customer Service & Cash Handling

About the role

The Teller will deliver cash‑based services to branch customers, ensuring transactions are processed quickly, accurately and with a courteous attitude. This position supports the branch’s financial targets while maintaining high standards of compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Execute cash, check, remittance, credit‑card and loan‑payment transactions in line with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Meet branch KPIs and service level agreements by handling transactions efficiently and error‑free.
• Promote cost‑conscious practices and productivity improvements.
• Provide accurate information on bank products, address customer queries and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal units and external customers to achieve branch objectives.
• Prepare and supply timely data to auditors, compliance, financial control and risk teams as required.

Required profile

• Ability to perform cash handling duties with precision and speed.
• Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
• Good understanding of banking policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
