Tendering & Estimation Manager - Industrial Catering

About the role

A Tendering & Estimation Manager is needed for industrial catering, remote site catering, camp management and hospitality services in Qatar. The role leads the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, reviews tender documents and prepares cost estimates, pricing models and budgets for catering operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for industrial catering, remote site catering, camp management and hospitality services.
• Review tender documents, RFPs, RFQs and contract requirements to ensure compliance.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, pricing models, manpower plans and budgets for catering operations.
• Conduct site visits and assess operational requirements, resources and risks.
• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, HR and Finance to develop competitive bids.
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Analyze tender specifications and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
• Prepare tender submissions, BOQs, presentations and supporting documentation.
• Take part in client meetings, tender clarifications, negotiations and contract handovers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and industry benchmarks.
• Maintain a database of historical costs, tender records and pricing strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in tendering and estimation within industrial catering, camp management or facility management.
• Strong experience pricing large-scale catering contracts, labor camps and remote site operations.
• Excellent knowledge of costing, budgeting, food cost analysis, manpower planning and procurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tender management processes.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Experience in GCC countries, preferably Qatar.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with government, oil & gas, healthcare, defense or industrial catering contracts.
• Knowledge of contract management and commercial evaluation methodologies.
