Tennis Coach

About the role

Sheraton in Doha is looking for a Tennis Coach to provide group and private tennis instruction to children and adults. The role also covers scheduling lessons and clinics, maintaining the courts and equipment, and supporting guests' recreational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide group and private tennis instruction to children and adults, and schedule individual and group lessons and clinics
• Make tennis court reservations by writing the guest's name on the schedule, and arrange matches for guests without partners
• Play in tournaments when needed
• Roll, brush and line tennis courts, string racquets, make minor repairs and send racquets out for repair
• Tell guests about available recreation facilities, activities, lessons and equipment, and promote a fun, relaxed atmosphere
• Follow company policies, keep a clean professional appearance, welcome guests and comply with quality assurance standards

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• No supervisory experience required
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stand, sit or walk for long periods

Required skills

• Tennis instruction license or certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Any additional certifications required by local and state agencies
