Training Specialist

About the role

The Training Specialist is responsible for identifying skill gaps across the organization and designing effective learning solutions. This role ensures training programs align with business objectives, improve employee performance, and are continuously refined using data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and competency reviews using surveys, interviews, and performance data to pinpoint training needs.
• Translate assessment results into clear training goals and develop management and soft‑skill programs.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts, instructional designers, and internal/external stakeholders to create and customize training content.
• Collect, organize, and analyze training data (feedback, test scores, ROI, attendance, LMS records) to evaluate program impact.
• Prepare reports and dashboards that illustrate training effectiveness, trends, and ROI for management review.
• Support LMS implementation, administration, and accurate record‑keeping.
• Leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance delivery, monitoring, and tracking of training initiatives.
• Stay abreast of adult‑learning best practices and propose innovative methods to boost engagement.
• Assist with audit and compliance documentation related to training.
• Participate in budget planning, vendor tendering, and contract evaluation for training services.
• Coordinate training project timelines, monitor impact, and drive continuous improvement.
• Work with Quality Assurance to maintain ISO, Risk Management, and ISMS certifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in training needs analysis and program design.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Analytical mindset with experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Familiarity with LMS administration and digital learning tools.
• Understanding of compliance, audit requirements, and ISO‑related processes.
• Budget management and vendor coordination skills.
