Transformation Manager - Process Excellence Academy

About the role

The Transformation Manager will lead Qatar Airways Group’s Process Excellence Academy, building and sustaining the organisation’s Lean Six Sigma capability. Reporting to senior leadership, the role designs, delivers and certifies White, Yellow, Green and Black Belt programmes while ensuring that improvement projects generate measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the enterprise authority for Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools and standards across the Group.
• Define, govern and evolve the Group’s Lean Six Sigma operating model to maintain methodological rigor.
• Own the Lean Six Sigma curriculum within the Process Excellence Academy, delivering Green Belt and Black Belt learning journeys aligned with business priorities.
• Provide training, coaching and mentorship to candidates throughout their improvement projects.
• Serve as the final certification authority, linking certification outcomes to finance‑validated impact.
• Oversee project selection, tollgate reviews and governance forums to ensure consistent quality and benefits realization.
• Partner with Finance to baseline, validate and track the financial benefits of improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience.
• Master Black Belt certification (or demonstrable equivalent experience) in Lean Six Sigma.
• Proven track record designing and delivering Green Belt and Black Belt curricula at enterprise scale.
• Experience coaching improvement teams and acting as a certification authority.
