Business and ICT Teacher

About the role

The Business and ICT Teacher will deliver engaging lessons in business studies and information and communication technology to secondary students. The role involves planning, assessment, classroom management, and collaboration with the psychology department to support diverse learner needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and email lesson plans to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare class materials, maintain grade books, and enter grades on schedule.
• Design monthly assessments, grade assignments, and organise student portfolios.
• Supervise playgrounds, attend staff meetings, workshops, and parent meetings.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioural, or special‑needs issues.
• Coordinate community service projects, fundraising activities, and student participation in fairs.
• Maintain classroom displays, record daily attendance, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital teaching tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
