Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance) – Qatar

About the role

KBR is seeking a Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician to support Southwest Asia Transient Aircraft Services for U.S. and coalition forces in Doha, Qatar. The role involves 24/7 flight‑line operations, ensuring safe and efficient aircraft arrival, turn‑around and departure in a high‑tempo, austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking, grounding and positioning according to Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute ground‑handling and servicing tasks required for aircraft turn‑around, including launch and recovery coordination.
• Conduct operator‑level inspections of vehicles and support equipment, maintaining strict tool control and FOD prevention.
• Document servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists while communicating hazards or equipment issues to leadership.
• Support continuous flight‑line operations in extreme weather, maintaining a ZERO‑Harm workplace.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• 3‑5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance or transient aircraft services.
• Hands‑on flight‑line experience and basic knowledge of aircraft marshaling and ground‑handling procedures.
• Preferred: FAA A&P certification or equivalent military experience; prior U.S. Air Force TAS support.
