Upholsterer – Workshops

About the role

Qatar Airways' MRO team is looking for a skilled Upholsterer to join its workshops in Doha. You will fabricate and recover aircraft interior furnishings, ensuring each component meets the airline's high standards for quality, safety and airworthiness.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and recover aircraft component furnishings according to approved specifications.
• Complete tasks within defined timeframes while adhering to company quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with airworthiness and safety regulations, including manufacturer recommendations.
• Ensure all work follows EASA/QCAA Part 145 regulatory requirements.
• Operate and maintain upholstery equipment and tooling used in the workshop.

Required profile

• High school diploma, bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in upholstery work, preferably in an aviation or MRO environment.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a workshop setting.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of upholstery equipment and tooling.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance, operation and proper handling.
• Understanding of EASA/QCAA Part 145 compliance requirements.
