Veterinarian – Breeding Specialist (Large‑Scale Livestock Farm)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Breeding Specialist to lead reproductive management on large‑scale livestock farms in the GCC. The role involves designing and executing breeding programs, monitoring animal health and fertility, and improving overall reproductive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor comprehensive breeding and reproductive management programs across multiple farm units.
• Conduct reproductive examinations, heat detection, artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis (ultrasound) and postpartum monitoring.
• Maintain accurate breeding records, analyse performance data and prepare regular reports for management.
• Identify and treat infertility, reproductive disorders and support disease‑prevention initiatives.
• Train farm personnel on breeding procedures, animal handling and reproductive management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent; specialization in animal reproduction is a plus.
• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience managing breeding programs on large commercial livestock farms.
• Previous experience working in GCC countries, preferably Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait or Oman.
• Valid professional veterinary registration/licence where applicable.
