Waiter / Waitress – Guest Service Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Waiter/Waitress to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in our hotel restaurant. The successful candidate will act as an ambassador of our brand, creating memorable dining experiences through attentive, personalized service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to tables and provide warm, courteous service throughout their visit.
• Present menus, daily specials and chef recommendations, explaining ingredients, preparation methods, dietary options and allergens.
• Take accurate orders using the hotel POS system and communicate preferences and special requests to kitchen and bar staff.
• Deliver food and drinks following fine-dining standards, ensuring correct presentation, timing and table maintenance.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback and complaints professionally, seeking timely resolution.
• Maintain immaculate table settings, clear and reset tables efficiently between courses.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including station preparation, supply replenishment and equipment polishing.
• Prepare and process guest bills, manage cash and electronic payments in line with hotel policies.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service, and support banquet, private dining and room-service operations as needed.
