Workforce Planning Officer

About the role

The Workforce Planning Officer supports the organization by maintaining an up‑to‑date organisational structure, job descriptions and workforce forecasts that align with business objectives. Reporting to the Organizational Design and Development Manager, the role ensures accurate data in HR systems and provides analytical support for staffing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain the company’s organisational structure and reporting lines in the Oracle ERP system.
• Create, review and standardise job descriptions to reflect current roles and responsibilities.
• Collect and analyse data for workforce forecasting, predicting future staffing needs based on growth and turnover.
• Track headcount, identify staffing gaps or surpluses, and support manpower planning activities.
• Maintain accurate workforce‑related data in the HR management system and generate regular reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with department leaders to ensure workforce allocations match operational demands.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Organizational Design & Development Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Psychology or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
• 3‑5 years of experience in workforce planning, organisational development or a similar HR role.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle ERP system.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
