About the role
Fawri Solutions is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join its Doha office. This full‑time, on‑site position will support the company’s financial operations and help drive accurate reporting and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records and bookkeeping entries.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and statements.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes.
- Process payroll and manage related documentation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights for decision‑making.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in an on‑site, collaborative environment.
- Transferable visa required for employment in Qatar.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software such as SAGE50, QuickBooks, or SAP.
- Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial laws.
