Accountant – Revenue (Arabic Language Fluency)

About the role

MEEZA is looking for an experienced Accountant – Revenue to join its Finance Operations team. The role focuses on revenue recognition, accounts receivable, billing, collections and financial reporting while ensuring strict compliance with IFRS 15 and internal policies. Arabic language fluency is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15 and ensure accurate reporting.
• Perform revenue assurance activities to validate completeness and accuracy of revenue data.
• Own the full Accounts Receivable cycle: invoicing, billing, cash application and collections.
• Monitor customer accounts, resolve billing discrepancies and manage AR aging.
• Prepare month‑end and year‑end journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and revenue‑related reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to guarantee correct billing and revenue reporting.
• Assist internal and external audits and maintain compliance with internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification.
• 8–10 years of finance operations experience, primarily in revenue accounting and accounts receivable.
• Fluent in Arabic (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition principles.
