About the role
UCC is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead core accounting functions within a construction environment. The role focuses on managing the general ledger, financial reporting, and contractual accounting while ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and oversee all accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Produce standalone and consolidated financial reports.
- Handle contractual accounting tasks, including retention and advance payments.
- Record and review manual journal entries with proper documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Utilize SAP for accounting processes and reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams to monitor project financial performance.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
Required profile
- Arabic speaker (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of contractual accounting practices.
- Experience in consolidated financial reporting.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Required skills
- Strong SAP experience (mandatory).
