Accounts Payable and General Ledger (Healthcare)

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Accounts Payable and General Ledger accountant for a healthcare client in Doha. The role covers processing supplier invoices, maintaining general ledger records and supporting month-end closing.

Key responsibilities

• Process hospital supplier invoices by verifying purchase orders, goods receipts, service confirmations and approvals.
• Prepare payment schedules, reconcile supplier accounts and resolve invoice discrepancies with Procurement and other departments.
• Maintain general ledger entries, accruals, prepayments and account reconciliations to support timely month-end closing.
• Prepare financial schedules and audit documentation while keeping accurate records and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, including relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare organisation.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent preferred.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of accounts payable and general ledger accounting.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel.
