Accounts Payable Specialist – SAP S/4HANA & Ariba

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to support our client in the fertilizer industry, based in Doha. The role focuses on processing vendor invoices through SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA FI, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Review, validate and post vendor invoices received via SAP Ariba and SAP FI.
• Perform three‑way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts and invoices.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with vendors, procurement, and business units.
• Monitor invoice workflow queues to meet approval and payment SLAs.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities for accounts payable.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding items.
• Assist internal and external auditors with required documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable or finance operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and reconciliation abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
