Applications Analyst (IM)

About the role

The Applications Analyst will support business functions by providing technical expertise to maintain the applications support environment and resolve day‑to‑day issues. The role ensures operational and project KPIs are met while delivering timely solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve operational issues, modify system parameters, create workarounds, and reconfigure systems as needed.
• Monitor support requests, keep stakeholders informed, and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Produce logical software designs, develop and execute test plans, and document all work according to standards.
• Define, document, and execute small‑scale projects, managing risks, issues, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and ITIL‑based support processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or Information Systems.
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Experience in developing, customizing, and integrating business applications.
• Proven project management and business analysis capabilities.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Aveva AIM / ISM / Tag Management Solution.
• Octave SmartPlant (SPF / S3D).
• Documentum D2 or similar document management tools.
• ITIL knowledge for application support.
