Arabic QA Lead (Remote)

About the role

This remote, hourly contractor position focuses on leading Arabic quality assurance for AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated Arabic content meets high standards of accuracy, fluency, cultural relevance, and adherence to detailed project rubrics.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Arabic content and trainer/QA work against project guidelines.
• Provide precise written feedback in English to improve contributor performance.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QA teams.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Monitor contributor activity and reactivate those with inconsistent participation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arabic, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native Arabic proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong command of English to follow guidelines and deliver feedback.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Arabic writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or similar workflows.
• Deep understanding of Arabic grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, RTL formatting, tone, register, Modern Standard Arabic and regional variations.
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and spot issues such as mistranslation, unnatural tone, dialect inconsistency, hallucinated claims, and terminology errors.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Arabic language proficiency (native or near‑native).
• English language proficiency for clear written communication.
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools such as Discord and Google Workspace.
