Assistant Accommodation Manager – Employee Housing

About the role

The Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha is looking for a detail‑oriented Assistant Accommodation Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of employee housing. You will ensure that staff accommodation is safe, clean, and efficiently managed, contributing to the well‑being of our team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily management of employee accommodation, guaranteeing cleanliness, maintenance and health‑safety compliance.
• Support room allocation planning, maintain accurate occupancy records and availability logs.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate repairs with Engineering or Maintenance teams.
• Monitor accommodation inventory such as furniture, appliances and supplies, ensuring proper documentation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding accommodation concerns, providing solutions or escalating when needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and communal areas to verify safety and functionality.
• Help implement health and safety protocols and report any hazards.
• Maintain operational logs, resident details and maintenance requests; assist in preparing management reports.
• Liaise with external vendors (cleaning, pest control) to ensure timely service delivery.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in facilities management, hospitality or administration are a plus.
• Previous experience in accommodation services, facilities management or administration, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with keen attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
