Assistant Director of Marketing

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Director of Marketing to lead the hotel’s communication strategy in Doha. You will work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to enhance brand visibility, drive media relations and support business growth across leisure and corporate segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international media outlets.
• Maintain up‑to‑date media lists covering travel, leisure, lifestyle, entertainment, business and food editors.
• Plan and execute media placements, press releases and promotional campaigns.
• Create and manage business and leisure travel promotions and distribute them to target audiences.
• Act as hotel spokesperson for official statements, especially during crisis situations.
• Maintain the hotel’s photo and electronic library and ensure the website content is current.
• Submit stories and images to media, monitor coverage and circulate relevant news internally.
• Keep the hotel press kit refreshed with the latest releases and assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing or communications, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong media relations and public‑relations expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage crisis communications.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities.
