Assistant Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Ned Doha, a luxury hotel in Doha's former Ministry of Interior building, is looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support its housekeeping leadership team. The role suits a detail-oriented professional with a background in luxury environments who wants to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house.
• Lead, train and mentor housekeeping staff to uphold brand standards and service excellence.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure pristine presentation.
• Assist with scheduling, inventory control and administrative duties.
• Address guest feedback promptly and professionally.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of assistant managerial experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols and sustainability practices.
• Familiarity with PMS and housekeeping systems.
