Assistant Inventory Controller

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Inventory Controller to help maintain accurate stock records across our retail and e‑commerce operations. You will work closely with warehouse, procurement and operations teams to ensure inventory data is reliable and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP and inventory management systems.
• Monitor daily stock movements including sales, returns, transfers, and receipts.
• Reconcile physical stock with system inventory and investigate discrepancies.
• Report inventory variances, stock losses, and damaged or expired items.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in coordinating restocking.
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams.
• Support continuous improvement of inventory processes and procedures.
• Assist with other inventory and operational tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or stock control roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple stock movements simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for daily coordination with cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.
