Assistant Outlet Manager - All Day Dining

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton, Doha, a 5-star resort on the Arabian Gulf with award-winning restaurants, is looking for an Assistant Outlet Manager for its All Day Dining outlet. The role ensures that the Gold Standards of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered every day, supporting the team and guests in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Make sure staff work as a team to meet guest needs
• Inspect staff grooming and attire and correct deficiencies
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking doors
• Check storage areas for organisation, FIFO use and cleanliness
• Complete scheduled inventories, stock and requisition supplies
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and guest well-being
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counselling, discipline and coaching, and act as first point of contact for the Open Door Policy
• Follow company and safety/security policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and welcome and assist guests
• Identify and implement improvements to efficiency, quality, safety and cost savings

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (preferred)
• At least 2 years of related work experience (preferred)
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred)
• Able to stand, sit or walk for an extended period, lift up to 50 pounds, and move through narrow or elevated spaces
