Assistant Venue Technology Manager

About the role

The Assistant Venue Technology Manager supports the Venue Technology Manager in overseeing all technology operations across a cluster of venues. The role ensures that ICT, AV and ELV services are planned, maintained and delivered to enable seamless venue operations and successful events.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Venue Technology Manager in the full lifecycle management of venue technology services.
• Monitor daily operations of ICT, AV and ELV systems and follow up on incidents, maintenance and service requests.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and vendors to resolve issues within agreed SLAs.
• Supervise technical rooms, data centres and communication rooms, maintaining accurate asset inventories.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all technology systems.
• Conduct site inspections, technical surveys and oversee installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Collaborate with event organizers to capture technical requirements and ensure venue readiness.
• Provide onsite technical support during events, including bump‑in, real‑time troubleshooting and post‑event dismantling.
• Manage temporary event technology overlays such as network infrastructure, IPTV, digital signage, PA, broadcasting, CCTV and access control.
• Coordinate vendor performance, compliance with standards and assist in project implementation and upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications or a related discipline.
• Experience in managing venue or event technology environments is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
