Banquet Captain

About the role

We create memorable experiences for our guests and are seeking a Banquet Captain who is passionate about delivering excellent service. You will lead the banquet team, ensure smooth event execution from setup to service, and make sure every guest feels welcome and well cared for.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the banquet team during events.
• Ensure all event setups are completed correctly and on time.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments for seamless service.
• Brief the team before each event to clarify duties.
• Monitor service during events and promptly address guest requests or issues.
• Maintain high service standards throughout the event.
• Assist with upselling premium food and beverage options when appropriate.
• Oversee event closing procedures, ensuring everything is cleared and organized.

Required profile

• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field, or equivalent hotel experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in banquet or food & beverage service in a hotel (advantageous).
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of banquet operations and service standards.
• Leadership, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Well‑organized with strong attention to detail.
