Barista Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Barista Supervisor to lead our coffee outlet within a 4‑star/5‑star hotel environment. You will ensure every beverage meets the highest quality standards while delivering exceptional guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily barista operations, preparing coffee, espresso‑based drinks, teas and specialty beverages according to hotel standards.
• Lead and coach the barista team to provide courteous, professional and efficient service.
• Oversee guest interactions, ensuring accurate order handling and maintaining positive relations.
• Maintain beverage presentation standards, including latte art and signature drink preparation.
• Drive sales through upselling of outlet offerings, daily specials and signature beverages.
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene and safety of the coffee station, equipment and service areas.
• Supervise operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of espresso machines, grinders and related equipment.
• Manage stock levels, coordinate replenishment and assist in daily preparation.
• Train, motivate and guide team members while fostering a “Yes I Can” service attitude.

Required profile

• 2–3 years experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in a 4‑star/5‑star hotel or upscale café.
• Strong knowledge of coffee beans, espresso extraction and brewing techniques.
• Excellent guest service and leadership skills, with a professional appearance.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
