Barista – F&B Service Expert

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is seeking a dedicated Barista to join its Food & Beverage team in Doha. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality coffee beverages while ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for guests throughout your shift.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
• Take guest orders, enter them into the MICROS system, and prepare coffee and other beverages.
• Operate cash register systems, handle payments, and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee cart, tables, dishes, and work areas throughout service.
• Ensure all coffee makers and related appliances are turned on/off at appropriate times.
• Adhere to company safety, security, and uniform standards.
• Provide courteous, professional service to all guests, including those with disabilities.

Required profile

• Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
• Ability to work extended periods standing, walking, or sitting.
• Capability to lift and move items up to 25 lb without assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Experience with cash register systems.
• Proficiency in the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Knowledge of coffee makers and beverage preparation equipment.
