About the role
The Barista Lead is responsible for opening and closing the coffee service, handling cash, and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. This role also supports management in staff development and maintains safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
- Record transactions in the MICROS system, manage cash, complete cashier reports, and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with guests and team members to deliver optimal service and address guest needs.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees.
- Follow company safety, security, and uniform policies, and report any incidents.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related food and beverage experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 10 lb, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
