Branch Manager – Qatar (Qatari Nationals & Children of Qatari Mothers)

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Doha branch in line with Commercial Bank Qatar's strategic objectives, driving sales growth and delivering high‑quality customer service. This role oversees all branch operations, ensures compliance with policies, and fosters a customer‑focused culture.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop branch staff, providing on‑the‑job training and constructive feedback.
• Contribute to budget preparation, monitor financial performance, and identify areas of unsatisfactory performance.
• Manage branch staffing, marketing, and business development initiatives to achieve growth and profitability targets.
• Oversee cash management, approve advances, and ensure adherence to bank policies.
• Monitor branch performance against objectives, including credit portfolio quality and remedial actions.
• Ensure high‑quality customer service, handle complaints, and promote self‑service channels.
• Conduct coaching and capability‑building programs for the branch team.
• Generate periodic and ad‑hoc reports on branch performance and compliance.
• Lead change management initiatives and implement functional policies, procedures, and controls.
• Maintain compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Relevant experience in branch management or banking operations.
• Eligibility to work in Qatar as a Qatari national or child of a Qatari mother.
