T24 Finance SME

About the role

Systems Limited – Middle East & Africa (Techvista) seeks an experienced T24 Finance SME to lead finance and accounting aspects of a Temenos T24 core banking transformation. The role ensures accurate financial accounting, GL mapping, regulatory compliance, and seamless finance operations throughout migration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance and accounting workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Review BRDs and FSDs to ensure correct accounting rules, product configurations, accruals, valuations, and financial reporting.
• Perform accounting gap analysis between existing policies and Temenos T24 functionality.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to validate accounting entries, profit distribution, and balance‑sheet impacts.
• Define target‑state finance operating models and establish automated posting logic, controls, and reconciliation frameworks.
• Lead GL mapping from legacy modules to Temenos T24 and oversee data cleansing, migration, trial balance and sub‑ledger reconciliations.
• Design finance‑focused test scenarios, lead UAT, day‑in‑the‑life simulations, and manage financial defects.
• Develop and review finance SOPs, reconciliation guidelines, control manuals, and training materials.

Required profile

• 7–10 years as a Finance Consultant or SME in large‑scale Temenos T24 transformations.
• In‑depth knowledge of Temenos accounting structures, Core Accounting and Arrangement Architecture engines.
• Strong understanding of Islamic banking product accounting, Sharia‑compliant financing, and profit distribution pools.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred; Temenos certifications advantageous.
